How Can You NOT Be Happy?

My name is Steve Davies from Patchogue (Long Island), New York. I purchased my 1998 C5 Corvette ("The best Vette yet") in January 1998 at Palanker Chevy in West Babylon, NY. I immediately fell in love with this Vette's power, handling and control. The interior is so well laid out and comfortable, that you can drive this Corvette for hours at a time and not get that tired body feeling. It's a treat and a pleasure to drive.

I have driven this Corvette everyday since I purchased it. It is my daily driver and has almost 35,000 miles on it already. I have driven this car in rain, sleet and snow here in New York and she handles great in all weather conditions. I have also driven this C5 from Bar Harbor, Maine to Virginia Beach, Virginia. And in the Fall of 1999 I participated in the National Corvette Caravan to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky.

One Day, One Corvette....Two Trophies

I have modified my C5 Corvette by adding an aftermarket SLP exhaust system, BBK throttle body, Breathless Performance Vortex Ram Air System, remanufactured MAF sensor, relocated MAT sensor, high ignition spark plug wires, SLP 160 degree thermostat assembly....and added such items as the Breathless Performance A4 Shifter, West Coast Corvette carbon-fiber dash kit, and a slew of other interior and exterior trimmings.
This Corvette has been entered in many Car Shows over the past few years and it has done extremely well, earning many first place trophies and plaques. So far this year it has taken two "People's Choice" awards. The people have spoken, and the people love the New C5 Corvette.
